When the Factory Car Radio is spoiled or faulty, the Reverse Camera can still continue working normally.
This is because the screen itself is not damaged. The reverse camera system has a separate trigger signal that automatically activates the display whenever the gear is shifted to Reverse (R).
In most cases, when the screen only displays the reverse camera but the normal radio menu, audio, navigation, or Bluetooth do not come on, the main problem is from the Factory Radio Head Unit (Main Brain).
The screen is still good and does not need replacement.
The faulty part is usually the main radio unit, which may require:
1. Repair of the internal power board or circuit
2. Replacement of the Factory Radio Unit
3. Upgrade to an Android Multimedia System
Therefore, before replacing the screen, proper diagnosis should be carried out on the main radio unit because the reverse camera display confirms that the screen is still functioning properly.
