I refuse to forget the cry of hunger... EVER!! Help me help them. Today, 3.4 million people (mostly children) die each year from water-related diseases. That’s one child every 20 seconds.

In Haiti, you will find villagers (mostly small children) who have to walk three miles, one way, each day
to collect a couple of gallons of water for the family. The water
sources they collect from are murky and not potable, so it has to be
carried back and boiled for the family to safely drink.

It is not uncommon for you to find sources of water where people are
bathing, animals are walking through and people are drinking from at the

is the only source of water that many and their families have to drink.
Since their options are to drink it or die of thirst, ultimately they
have no choice.
